# Workspace Basics
A workspace is the top-level container in TeamWins. Everything your team does — Assists, points, perks, leaderboards, approvals — belongs to a specific workspace.
Most companies run one workspace per business unit or region so each group has its own rules, reviewers, and reporting.

What Lives at the Workspace Level
- Points & Leaderboards: Every point earned stays inside the workspace. There’s no crossover between workspaces.
- Perks & Approvals: Reward tiers, auto-approve settings, and reviewer assignments are defined per workspace.
- Members & Roles: You invite teammates into a workspace and assign their role (Member, Reviewer, Admin) for that workspace only.
- Billing & Plans: Subscriptions, invoices, and seat counts are tracked per workspace, each with its own billing owner.

Multi-Workspace Membership
One user can be invited to multiple workspaces (e.g., a global admin overseeing APAC and EMEA). Each workspace maintains separate points, perks, and roles, so switching workspaces is like moving between entirely separate teams.
