Can't sign in

Common fixes for SSO and invite issues.

Understanding TeamWins Authentication

TeamWins uses Google Single Sign-On (SSO) to make joining your workspace simple and secure. This means you sign in with your company Google account—no separate passwords to remember.

Quick Fixes

Try an incognito window

Browser extensions sometimes block SSO authentication. Open a private/incognito window and try signing in again.

Confirm you're using your company Google account

Make sure you're signed into the correct Google account:

  1. Check the email address in the top-right corner of your browser
  2. If you have multiple Google accounts, switch to your work account
  3. Try signing out of all Google accounts, then sign back into your work account only

Ask an admin to re-send the invite

Your invitation link may have expired or gotten lost:

  1. Contact your workspace admin
  2. Ask them to go to Admin → Members and send a fresh invite
  3. Check your spam folder for the new invitation

Domain restrictions

If your company blocks third-party sign-in:

  1. Contact your IT department
  2. Ask them to allowlist TeamWins for Google SSO
  3. They may need to add *.teamwins.com to your approved domains

How TeamWins SSO Works

Initial Setup

When your admin creates a workspace, they set the company domain (e.g., @yourcompany.com). Only users with matching email domains can join.

Joining Process

  1. Receive invite → Click the link or enter the workspace code
  2. Google authentication → Sign in with your company Google account
  3. Automatic verification → TeamWins confirms your email domain matches
  4. Welcome to the workspace → You're immediately ready to participate

Security Features

  • Domain validation: Only company email addresses can join
  • No password storage: TeamWins never sees or stores your password
  • Session management: Secure tokens with automatic expiration
  • Admin controls: Workspace owners can remove access instantly

Still Having Issues?

Check Your Browser

  • Clear cookies for teamwins.co
  • Disable ad blockers temporarily
  • Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Update your browser to the latest version

Network Issues

  • Corporate VPN: Try disconnecting/reconnecting
  • Firewall: Ask IT to check if teamwins.com is blocked
  • Proxy settings: May interfere with authentication

Account Issues

  • New employee: Your admin may need to add your email to the workspace
  • Email change: If you recently changed your work email, ask admin to update your account
  • Suspended account: Contact your admin to check if your access was paused

Contact Support

If none of these steps work:

  1. Screenshot the error you're seeing
  2. Note your browser and version (e.g., Chrome 120.0)
  3. Contact your workspace admin with these details
  4. Admin can escalate to TeamWins support if needed

Most sign-in issues are resolved within minutes using these steps. The most common cause is browser extensions blocking the authentication popup.
