Upgrade to Pro
When to upgrade
- You've reached the 2-Assist limit on Free
- You need HubSpot integration
- You want advanced analytics
- You need to add more Reviewers (beyond just the Admin)
How to upgrade
Step 1: Open upgrade modal 1. Navigate to Admin → Billing & Subscription 2. Click "Upgrade to Pro" button 3. Or, if you hit an Assist limit, the upgrade modal appears automatically
Step 2: Configure your Pro plan
- Select number of seats: Choose 2–10 Reviewer seats
- Base price: €99/month includes 2 seats (Admin + 1 Reviewer) - Additional seats: €99/month per seat
- Choose billing cycle: Monthly or Annual (20% savings for annual)
- Select currency: EUR, USD, or GBP
Pricing examples:
- 2 seats: €99/month (both seats included in base)
- 3 seats: €198/month (base €99 + 1 additional €99)
- 5 seats: €396/month (base €99 + 3 additional €297)
Step 3: Complete Stripe checkout 1. Click "Proceed to Checkout" 2. You'll be redirected to Stripe (secure payment page) 3. Enter your card details 4. Review total (includes tax if applicable) 5. Click "Subscribe"
Step 4: Confirm upgrade
- Redirected back to TeamWins
- Features unlock immediately
- No downtime or waiting period
- Your workspace now has unlimited Assists and HubSpot access
What you can do now:
- Create unlimited Assists
- Enable HubSpot integration (Admin → Integrations)
- Access full analytics dashboard
- Add as many Reviewer seats as needed

Add Reviewer Seats (Pro users)
Add seats mid-cycle
Scenario: You have 2 seats but need to add a 3rd Reviewer
Steps: 1. Go to Admin → Billing & Subscription 2. Click "Add Reviewer Seat" 3. Confirm the prorated charge 4. New seat is active immediately 5. Prorated amount charged: You pay for the days remaining in the current billing period
Example:
- Current: 2 seats at €99/month
- Date: Jan 15 (mid-month)
- Adding: 1 additional seat
- Charge: ~€50 (50% of €99 for remaining 15 days)
- Next month: You'll pay €198 (2 seats included + 1 additional)

Downgrade to Free
When to downgrade
- You don't need more than 2 Assists
- You don't need HubSpot integration
- You're fine with 1 Reviewer (just the Admin)
- Budget constraints
How to downgrade
Option 1: Downgrade at period end (recommended) 1. Go to Admin → Billing & Subscription 2. Click "Downgrade to Free" 3. Click "Confirm" in the warning dialog 4. Your Pro plan continues until end of billing period 5. Downgrades automatically on the next billing date 6. Benefits: Continue using Pro features for remaining time, smoother transition
Warning: When downgrading, you'll lose:
- Unlimited Assists (down to 2 max)
- HubSpot integration
- Advanced analytics (basic insights only)
- Additional Reviewer seats (keeps just Admin)
Assists that exceed limit: These won't be deleted, but you can't publish them until you upgrade again.

Common Questions
Q: Can I upgrade for just one month then downgrade? A: Yes! Pro features are available as long as you're subscribed. You can downgrade anytime.
Q: What happens to my data when I downgrade? A: All your data, Assists, and contributions are preserved. You just can't access certain features.
Q: Do I get a refund if I downgrade mid-cycle? A: No, billing is prorated for upgrades (you pay more), but not for downgrades (you keep access for paid period).
Q: Can I change currency after signing up? A: Contact support to switch currencies. Or cancel and re-subscribe in the new currency.
Q: What happens if my payment fails? A: Stripe retries for 7 days. If it still fails, your workspace downgrades to Free automatically.
Q: Can I transfer my subscription to another workspace? A: Contact support. Subscriptions are per-workspace and can't be transferred directly.
